New Berlin, Wisconsin, is a city in Waukesha County that is nearly enclosed by Waukesha (northwest), Brookfield (north), West Allis, Greenfield, and Hales Corners (east), and Muskego (south). I-43 runs through the city and state highway 59 forms most of its northern border. It has about 40,500 residents. It is named for New Berlin, New York.
