Beaver Dam Lake is adjacent to and the Beaver Dam River runs through the southern part of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, in Dodge County. The city is situated at the intersection of US Highway 151 and state highway 33 about halfway between Madison and Fond du Lac. It was named for what should be obvious reasons and currently has over 16,000 residents.
