Beaver, Wisconsin, is located along US Highway 141 in Marinette County. It's about 45 miles north of Green Bay. It was originally named Armstrong Dam for Ferdinand Amesley "Pinochle" Armstrong. It was renamed Beaver after Beaver Creek in 1884 when the post office was established. If there is an official population, it is very small.
