West Bend, Wisconsin, is a city in Washington County at the intersection of US Highway 45 and state highways 33 and 144 about 35 miles north-northwest of Milwaukee, which is on Lake Michigan. West Bend has about 31,750 residents.

West Bend is a combination of the settlement of West Bend (named for the curve in the Milwaukee River there) and of Salisbury's Mills (for Barton Salisbury, later changed to Barton).
