Ripon, Wisconsin, is a city in Fond du Lac County at the intersection of state highways 23 and 44 about 20 miles west of Fond du Lac, which is on the southern shore of Lake Winnebago. It has about 7800 residents.
It was originally known as Morena (reason unknown) but was renamed for Ripon, North Yorkshire, England.
