La Valle, Wisconsin, is a village in Sauk County at the intersection of state highways 33 and 58 about 20 miles west of
Wisconsin Dells. It has about 360 residents. It was either named for a trapper named La Valley or for the landscape, as
la valle is French for "the valley".
