Juneau, Wisconsin, is located in Dodge (not Juneau) County along state highway 26 about 15 miles north of Watertown. It has about 2650 residents.

Its name is a subject of debate. After first being called Victory (winning the battle for county seat over Fox Lake and Watertown) and then Dodge Center (for its geographic location), the name was changed to Juneau either for Solomon Juneau or his son Paul Juneau. Many sources claim Solomon, but the city itself claims Paul.
