Gile, Wisconsin, used to be its own entity but is now a neighborhood that is part of Montreal, Wisconsin. Both are located in Iron County. Montreal is adjacent to
Hurley, which is on the Wisconsin - Upper Michigan border. Gile still has its own post office. It was named for Gordon H. Gile or Miles Giles.
