Gillett, Wisconsin, is a village in Oconto County along state highway 22 (32 runs just north of town) about 35 miles northwest of
Green Bay. Its population is about 1300.
It was first named Gillett Center after Rodney Stephen Gillett. Some time later it was shortened to Gillett.
