Eagle 801

Eagle, Wisconsin, is located in Waukesha County at the intersection of state highways 59 and 67 about 15 miles southwest of Waukesha. The village has about 2000 people.

Eagle has been called Eagle Prairie, Eagleville, Eagle Center, and Pittman (after the man who recorded the plat). Somewhen along the way it was shortened to Eagle. Supposedly the eagle names came from the spotting of a large bald eagle in the area.
