Darien, Wisconsin, is a village at the intersection of I-43 and US Highway 14 in Walworth County about 20 miles southeast of Janesville and also 20 miles northeast of Beloit. It has about 1500 residents.
Darien was originally called Bruceville after John Bruce. It was later changed by settlers who came from Darien, New York.
