Cedarburg, Wisconsin, is a city about 20 miles north of Milwaukee with about 12,000 residents. It is adjacent to Thiensville to the south and Grafton to the northeast. The intersection of state highways 60 and 181 (76th St. in Milwaukee) lies just to the northwest.

Cedarburg may be named for settler Frederick Leuning's residence known as the "Cedarburg" ("Cedar Castle") which was located near the banks of Cedar Creek which flows through the town and eventually joins the Milwaukee River.
