Cedar Grove, Wisconsin, is located just west of I-43 on state highway 32 about 15 miles south of Sheboygan in Sheboygan County. The village was named by the Reverend Pieter Zoone for the local flora. Somehow, the nearby settlement of Amsterdam was moved to Cedar Grove in 1871 when the railroad arrived.
