Cambridge, Wisconsin, is located mostly in Dane County and a little in Jefferson County where US highways meet (or diverge). It is about 25 miles east of Madison (where the highways meet / diverge again). It is home to about 1500 people.
Cambridge was apparently named by Alvin B. Carpenter after Cambridge, New York, where a sweetheart of his youth lived. Ah, the romance of Wisconsin place names!
