Bonduel, Wisconsin, is located at the intersection of state highways 47 and 29 in Shawano County about 30 miles northwest of Green Bay and 10 miles southeast of Shawano. Its population is about 1400.
The village may originally have been called Hartland Corners, but it was later changed to Bonduel after the Reverend Florimond Bonduel, a Jesuit missionary who had worked in the area.
