Nashotah, Wisconsin, is a village in Waukesha County along state highway 16 about 10 miles northwest of Waukesha. It has over 1300 residents.
Nashotah is apparently an Indian word meaning "twins" or "one of a pair", referring to Upper and Lower Nashotah Lakes. For a time it was called Nashotah Station.
