Mount Sterling, Wisconsin, is a village in Crawford County along state highway 27 about 25 miles north-northeast of
Prairie du Chien, which is on the Mississippi River. Mt. Sterling has about 200 residents. It was named for William Sterling. It may be located at the highest point in the county.
