Tripoli, Wisconsin, is located in Lincoln and Oneida counties along US Highway 8 about 30 miles west of
Rhinelander. It is (or apparently was at one time) also close enough to Price County that it got a name meaning "three towns", even though it's really three counties that are the reason for the name. Confused? I think they were too.
