Stratford, Wisconsin, is a village in Marathon County at the intersection of state highways 97 and 153 about 25 miles southwest of Wausau and about 10 miles northeast of Marshfield. It has about 1575 residents.
It was either named for Stratford-upon-Avon, England or Stratford, Ontario, Canada.
