Somers, Wisconsin, is a village in Kenosha County about 5 miles northwest of Kenosha, which is on Lake Michigan. It has about 8400 residents. It was first called Pike (possibly for fish in the area) and was changed to Somers for a Mr. Somers (for reasons unknown).
