Solon Springs, Wisconsin, is a village in Douglas County along US Highway 53 about 30 miles south-southeast of Superior. It has about 600 residents.
It was first called White Birch for the flora in the area. It was renamed for Thomas F. Solon who sold water from the springs in the area.
