Superior, Wisconsin, is a city in Douglas County located at the westernmost point of Lake Superior. Duluth, Minnesota, is Saint Louis Bay to the northwest. US Highways 2 and 53 and state highways 35 and 105 run through the area. The western terminus of state highway 13 is just south of town. The population of Superior is about 26,750.

The city is named for the lake, which is so named because it is the largest and furthest north of the Great Lakes.
