Richland Center, Wisconsin, is a city in Richland County along US Highway 14 about 45 miles southwest of Wisconsin Dells. It has about 5100 residents.

It was named by founder Ira Sherwin Hazeltine (or Haseltine) based on its geographic location within Richland County. The county, in turn, was either named for the rich soil in the area or for settlers who came from Richland County, Iowa.
