Osseo, Wisconsin, is a city in Trempealeau County at the intersection of I-94 and US Highway 10 about 20 miles southeast of Eau Claire. It has about 1675 residents.
It may be named for the Spanish word oso (bear), or an Indian term for "stony place", or after the name (Osseo) in Longfellow's Hiawatha.
