Necedah, Wisconsin, is a village in Juneau County at the intersection of state highways 21 and 80 about 20 miles east of Tomah. It has about 900 residents.

Necedah may be a corruption of the Ojibwe nissida meaning "let there be three of us", or it may come from the Winnebago for "land of yellow waters". The Yellow River runs through the town, but it is said to have been named after the establishment of the town.
