Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, is a village in Dane County near the intersection of US Highway 18 / 151 and state highway 78 about 20 miles west of Madison. It has about 7750 residents.
It was named for the biblical Mount Horeb. The name changed to Horeb's Corner for a time before being official called Mount Horeb again.
