Milltown, Wisconsin, is a village in Polk County at the intersection of state highways 35 and 46 about 10 miles northeast of
St. Croix Falls, which is on the St. Croix River (Minnesota-Wisconsin state border). It has about 875 residents. It was apparently so named because for many years the only building of consequence was a sawmill.
