Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin, is a city in Polk County along the St. Croix River which forms part of the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota. US Highway 8 and state highways 35 and 87 meet here. St. Croix Falls has about 2200 residents.
It was named for a falls on the St. Croix River that used to be where a dam now stands that was completed in 1907.
