Lomira, Wisconsin, is a village in Dodge County at the intersection of I-41 and state highway 67. Highways 49 and 175 runs through the area as well. It lies about 10 miles south of
Fond du Lac, and its population is about 1450.
It may be named for Lomira (or Elmira?) Schoonover, or its name may be derived from the loam that was found in the area.
