Ettrick, Wisconsin, is located in Trempealeau County along US Highway 53 about 30 miles north of La Crosse. The village has a population of about 520.

It was originally named Armagh, but the first postmaster, John Cance (or Chance), originally of Glasgow, renamed it for Ettrick Forest in Scotland.
