Delafield, Wisconsin, is a city located in Waukesha County mostly between I-94 to the south and state highway 16 to the north, with state highway 83 on the east. It is home to about 7500 residents.
The area was originally called Nehamabin or Nemahbin and Hayopolis. It was eventually named for Dr. Charles Delafield.
