Danbury

Danbury 703

Danbury, Wisconsin, is located at the intersection of state highways 35 and 77 near the Wisconsin-Minnesota state line in Burnett County about 50 miles south of Superior. About 170 people live there.

The origin of the name is cloudy at best. It may be named after Dan Springer or John Daniel Glass. The rest of the possible story is shadier (not in a bad way), so I'll just leave it at that.
