All of these were probably named by Scottish settlers for their homeland which is also known as Caledonia.

The Caledonia in Racine County lies on the shore of Lake Michigan between Oak Creek to the north and Racine (and Mt. Pleasant) to the south. I-41 / 94 forms its western border. State highways 31, 32, and 38 run through the area.
