Haugen, Wisconsin, is a village in Barron County just west of US Highway 53 about 50 miles northeast of
St. Croix Falls, which is on the St. Croix River. It has about 275 residents. It was either named for a Senator Haugen or for Nils P. Haugen, who was also a politician but in the House of Representatives.
