Cadott, Wisconsin, is a village in Chippewa County at the intersection of state highways 27 and 29 about 10 miles east of Chippewa Falls. It has about 1425 residents.

Cadott was named for Jean Baptiste Cadotte (or Cadeau). He started a settlement near the present site which became known as Cadotte Falls. The current site was established by Robert Marriner and was also originally called Cadotte Falls. At some point the trailing "e" was dropped.
