Wheeler, Wisconsin, is a village in Dunn County at the intersection of state highways 25 and 170 about 30 miles west of Chippewa Falls. It has about 350 residents.
The railway station here was first called Lochiel (reason unknown). The town was first called Welton for Maria L. Welton. Eventually everything was called Wheeler for H. D. Wheeler.
