Wauzeka, Wisconsin, is a village in Crawford County on the north bank of the Wisconsin River about 15 miles east of
Prairie du Chien, which is on the Mississippi River. It has about 625 residents.
The name comes from the Indian (possibly Ho-Chunk) name Waaziga or Wauzega which may mean "pine tree".
