Unity, Wisconsin, is a village in Clark and Marathon counties along state highway 13 about 15 miles northwest of Marshfield. It has about 325 residents.
The name was suggested (after some unsuccessful duplicate attempts) either by Mr. or Mrs. Edmund Creed either because the government was a "unit" or because the residents were united on the name. (I think you had to be there.)
