Springbrook, Wisconsin, is located in Washburn County along state highway 63 about 70 miles southwest of Ashland, which is on Lake Superior. It has about 75 people.
It was first called Namekagon (apparently of Indian origin but meaning unknown). It was changed to Springbrook for the water in the area.
