Kohler, Wisconsin, is a village in Sheboygan County between the adjacent towns of
Sheboygan (east) and
Sheboygan Falls (west). It is located mostly within the rough square formed by I-43 (west), state highway 28 (south), state highway 32 (west, through Sheboygan Falls), and state highway 23 (north). It has just over 2000 residents.
The settlement was first named Riverside for the Sheboygan River that runs through it by a Mr. Balkins. When the Kohler Manufacturing Company moved there (from Sheboygan), it was renamed Kohler.
