Greenville, Wisconsin, is a village in Outagamie County at the intersection of state highways 15 and 76 about 5 miles west of Appleton. It has a population of about 12,600.

Greenville was named by John Culbertson for the color of the area in April. The railroad established Greenville Station near the post office called Becker (for Anton Becker its postmaster). Later the post office moved from Becker to Greenville Station. Eventually the settlement's name was shortened to Greenville.
