Greendale, Wisconsin, is a village in Milwaukee County - not to be confused with Greenfield which is adjacent to the north. State highway 36 (Loomis Rd.) runs through the town as does a bit of highway 24 (Forest Home Ave.). The population is about 14,900.
Greendale was one of three planned "Greenbelt Towns". The others are Greenbelt, Maryland, and Greenhills, Ohio. (Greenbrook, New Jersey, was planned but never built.)
