Fremont, Wisconsin, is a village in Waupaca County along US Highway 10, which bypasses the town, and state highway 110, which runs through the town and parallels US 10. (State highways 96 and 49 are nearby.) Fremont is about 25 miles west of
Appleton. Fremont may have been named for Colonel John Fremont.
