Bristol, Wisconsin, is located in Kenosha County at the intersection of US Highway 45 and state highway 50 just west of I-94 and just north of the Illinois border. Wikipedia says that it was named for George and Lester Bristol. The Romance of Wisconsin Place Names says that David Wilder, and early settler who came from Bristol, New York. About 5200 people live there. You may have heard of the Bristol Renaissance Faire, which I actually attended once.
