Adams, Wisconsin, is located in Adams County in the central part of the state. (Adams - all of the local references - is either pointing to President John Adams or President John Quincy Adams.) The town was originally called South Friendship and is still attached to Friendship (which is smaller) to the north along state highway 13 which runs through both of them.
