Westfield 841

Westfield, Wisconsin, is a village in Marquette County along I-39 about 25 miles north of Portage. It has about 1250 residents.

The Romance of Wisconsin Place Names states that it was named for Westfield, New York (from whence Robert Cochrane, its founder?, hailed). However, Wikipedia says that it was first called Széptáj (Hungarian for "beautiful landscape"), was later renamed Haraszthy (for its founder?), and was finally changed to Westfield (reason unknown) by the (state) legislature.

So your guess is as good as mine.
