Random Lake

Random Lake, Wisconsin, is a village in Sheboygan County along state highway 57 about 20 miles southwest of Sheboygan, which is on Lake Michigan. It has about 1500 residents.

The lake, which is surrounded by the village was named by surveyors. No reason is given. The railroad station was named Greenleaf for E. D. Greeleaf, but the settlement was later changed back to Random Lake.
