Prescott, Wisconsin, is a city in Pierce County where the St. Croix River meets the Mississippi and where US Highway 10 meets state highway 35. It has about 4300 residents.
The settlement was first called Mouth of the St. Croix and Lake Mouth. Later it became Elizabeth for Elizabeth Schasser. It was renamed for Philander Prescott.
