Friesland, Wisconsin, is located in Columbia County north of state highway 33 and west of 73 along county EF about 20 miles east of Portage. It has about 320 residents.
It was originally called Randolph Center but was renamed for a province in the Netherlands by a Mrs. Vander Werff.
